Investment Fee Category

I would like to request that a sub category be added to investments to track investment fees. I tried to add one and wasn't able to.

There is a default category "Investment Expense" which is what I think is intended for this use. That said, while you can't create a sub category under an existing required default category, there's nothing stopping you from creating a separate "Investment Fees" category. The fact that it would not be a sub-category of Investments would be of little consequence.Quicken Mac Subscription; Quicken Mac user since the early 90s0

I don't see an Investment Expense category. I only see some various "Interest" expenses under the investment category. It seems like there should be an expense sub category under Investments to capture various fees such as commission and management fees.0

Sorry, you are absolutely right. I misread it. Still, you can create your own. If you need to associate a tax category to show up in the Tax Schedule report, you can do that too.Quicken Mac Subscription; Quicken Mac user since the early 90s0
