    Hello @David Buell,

Thank you for taking the time to visit our Community and tell us about your issue, though I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this.

Aside from the error message you received, was there also an error code associated with the error message that you could provide us with?

Please, check back and let us know!

    Which PAYEE or Financial Institution
are you selecting when clicking on - Contact Info -
The error is coming from their web server - not recognizing what browser you are using.  Sometimes they haven't updated their web server scripts when new browsers are updated or released.
Is this the screen you are referencing - as I don't see any browser involved,
unless you click on - Go To Website ?

Ahhhh.....  the built-in Quicken browser must appear to be an older version...
You can click on FULL BROWSER to invoke your normal Windows browser.

It appears that the American Express website does not support Quicken's built-in browser.  I suggest you select Full Browser.

Please note that the "web browser" in this case is the embedded one that Quicken is using.  The version number it is sending is most likely quite old.  Note to @ps56k yes this is when you select "Go To Website"

Interesting that on screenshot that the "Full Browser" button isn't enabled.
On a test with Chase I get the same message, but the "Full Browser" button is enabled so I can click that have the web page come up in the default browser.

EDIT for clarity,  This is the embedded web browser window.

    "Full browser" MS Edge:

As a suggestion to Quicken development.  If not possible to get an updated embedded web page interface it might be wise to skip the Quicken window and just go straight to the user's default "full browser" at least for this use case.

Just as a follwup -  tested my entries....
Ally, Cap One, Schwab, Fidelity, TRowe, Vanguard ---> all ok
    Chase --> Warning Message
Paypal --> weird - paints and then blank screen
Lastly - this internal Quicken browser screen has always had its problems...
Try clicking on the ---> Quicken.com icon :)

It might help if they actually used the right URL:

BTW - when the web server sends a request to your browser for "attributes"
here is what a typical response is.... from my FireFox browser
This is how the web server knows what you are using, what OS and desktop vs tablet.
I can't figure out how to modify an FI info so the internal Quicken browser would "goto" my webpage to determine what exactly it is replying.

    Interesting.... thanks for digging -
the Chrome 62 is now up to 86
not sure on the Safari numbers,
as the version usually is related to the current iOS version (14),
and it is just mimicing the WebKit numbers
