Checking that the address for an online payee is correct

Payee addresses don't change very often but when they do it really messes up bill pay. Right now it is very difficult to "check" a payee's address. My suggestion is that in the online center dialogue box you add a button, something like "show payee", and it'd pop up a some kind of little window or something with the current address for the currently selected payee. IMO no need to make editing be easy -- they change so infrequently just knowing that you need to update one would be a minor problem [but fix a potentially major problem -- one such change was one of my credit cards and I had to argue with them a bit to get then to waive the late fees and such!]

I totally agree with this. My online payee address for my healthcare provider seems to change every time they send me a bill and I have sent it to the wrong PO box on MANY occasions! There is no easy way to verify where it will be going -- I suggest something very similar to what is contained in writing a check - show that same information (address, payee, etc) on the Online payment "check".

Instead of wrestling with constantly changing addresses, how about allowing your health care provider to debit your checking or credit card account automatically every month? Electronic debit would make things easier for you.

Just as a followup, I'm told that in some version of quicken if you used write-checks instead of the online center to do your online billpay it would display the payee's address in the address portion of the check. It was reported that this worked fine in Q2020 R26.17 . It has no longer worked for a while and still doesn't work with the latest version, R35.31

So my experience is that payee's will notify one of a change of address - usually weeks or months in advance - but certainly before a payment is due.  That should be the trigger for changing the address in Quicken.  I see no reason to modify Quicken's programming  for a user's forgetting to make the change.
