Does the new report engine not subtotal 'tags' within each category like the previous reports did?

Tags are now a sortable column within the category, but not totaled in a category transaction report. Is there a setting to make a subtotal for a tag appear within the category?

No one here knows what's planned for future releases. Many people would like to be able to specify subtotals for reports, and I'd encourage you to visit this Idea topic and cast your vote (click the little gray arrow in the blue box under the first post).

Tags are useful to Quicken users for any number of reasons, depending on what you're using them for. If you want to be able to search for transactions by Tag, you can do that. If you want a report of all transactions for one or more specific Tags, you can do that. But you can't create a category transaction report subtotalled by Tages within each Category. Yet. Visit the Idea thread to vote, and add a comment about how you would want to use this functionality.
