FYI: Chase Payments in Quicken Bill Manager

There is currently a system issue that affects users who have scheduled a payment with Chase.

For your security, Chase is requiring that accounts be revalidated before a payment can be completed. Once you complete this validation by entering the one-time code sent to your mobile phone or email, the temporary block on your online access will be removed and your payments can be processed.

If you do not complete this revalidation step, any scheduled payments to Chase will fail.

To avoid any delays in processing your payments, we recommend you perform this revalidation step now. Here’s how:

Windows

  1. In the Bills & Income tab, follow the update login prompt next to your Chase bill. Otherwise, click on the dropdown associated with your Chase bill.                                                                 
  2. Select Refresh Bill. If verification is required, you will be prompted to enter a verification code sent to your account’s approved device. Following the verification, future payments to your Chase bills will be made successfully.

Mac
  1. In the Bills & Income tab, click on the three dots associated with your Chase bill.
  2. Select Edit Payee and navigate to the eBill tab.                         
  3. Click on Update Login. If verification is required, you will be prompted to enter a verification code sent to your account’s approved device. Following the verification, future payments to your Chase bills will be made successfully.
