There are a number of threads discussing the impact users are seeing when running OSU, because of the change discussed here: https://community.quicken.com/discussion/7881572/whats-happening-in-the-quicken-community-october-20-edition

QCS is what they are going to, so it is expected that eventually they will force everyone using Express Web Connect to use it. On the other hand some people have reported problems with it, and as such FDS is the "safer" one.Signature:

Here is the situation and something to try.
Make sure that you have a Manual Backup of your Data File.
Make sure that you are on QCS do your downloads via OSU.
Assume you make mistake like to associate a downloaded transaction to the wrong existing Transaction.
What is the easier way to fix, given you just made a Manual Backup? To Restore your last Manual Backup, which we are telling Users and I have first hand knowledge of this problem.
Restore your last Manual Backup.
Now attempt a One Step Update. No new Transactions are being downloaded into the Restored File, if you are on QCS Channel.
Now, you could do a Reinstall and delete all logs as well via this method: https://community.quicken.com/discussion/7844658/installing-reinstalling-windows-quicken-subscription-editions
This will fix the issue and you stay on the QCS Channel.
Or, you can simple change the Channel to FDS Channel. You will get the missing Transactions, plus maybe duplicates.
I reported this problem along with the logs. QCS only affects the Express Web Connect Connection. Direct Connect is not affected.
