No error, but no updates either


Sometime in the last couple of weeks, Quicken for Windows 30.14 stopped updating my bank accounts. Oddly, my retirement accounts aren't affected. There are no errors or messages. It acts as though there's nothing to download. If I go to the individual websites and download the QFX, the accounts update perfectly. What's going on?

    Thank you for reaching out on the community and telling us about your issue. I do apologize for the issue you're having. I'm wondering if it might not think they're connected even though they are. One thing that we can attempt here is to deactivate and reactivate the accounts so that we're able to see if refreshing the connection gets them up and running again.

    First thing I'll recommend is to save a backup to revert back to just in case. You can find how to do so down below. 


    Next we'll try deactivating all of the accounts. You can do so by following the article listed down below.


    Once all the accounts are deactivated go ahead and follow the article here on reconnecting the accounts.


     Once you get the chance let us know if you're able to get your downloads working again. If not let us know and we'll see what we can try next.

    Thank you, Francisco. That fixed my update problem, but it created many, many errors in my primary checking account. Sometime around the 25th of September, dozens of transactions have been replaced with the name that came with the download, not my Renaming names. Categories were changed. Transfers to other accounts were changed to transfer back into the checking account. Quicken has become so much less reliable than it was under Intuit. I want to support you, but this is increasingly frustrating.
