downloading credit card account to quicken for Mac

I am trying to download my credit card transactions to my quicken by creating a credit card account. My husband already downloaded his transactions directly to our checking account, but I want to put them in a separate credit card account.
It seems I can't do this now that we have opted to download directly to the checking account.
Does anyone know if this is possible and how to do it???

Thank you for reaching out on the community and telling us about your issue. I do apologize for the issue you're having. It sounds like you originally only added the checking account but not the credit card. We should be able to add them by trying to reconnect to the bank again and adding accounts. I'm unsure which version you're using so I'll leave you links to both mac and windows down below
