I cannot input a 5 digit debit on the register for a transfer

I am running 2012 home & business and am having issues with trying to enter a transfer from a savings account to a checking account in the same bank. I keep entering the 5 digits (00000.oo and it keeps putting 0000.oo. When I click on "edit transaction", it shows the 5 digits correctly but it is in red. What do I do to fix this? The amount balances are correct in each account.
Thank you
Thank you

Is the column wide enough to display it all? Try dragging the column separator line in the heading.0
