How to fix error OL-297 A relating to downloading from Chase and AMEX

errors started yesterday and continue today, Sunday Jan 24. On Quicken webpage, it was suggested that I do some fixes on Internet Explorer. Why? I use Firefox, not IE. What is the solution?

  • Hello @""Joe C"

Thank you for reaching out on the community and telling us about your issue. I do apologize for the issue you're having. I was taking a look to see if I could find anything and it looks like we don't have any errors active with either FI but we can take a bit deeper of a look here. You mention changing options in internet explorer but the 297 article mentions internet properties which may be what you're referring to. If that's not the case I'd recommend taking a look at the support article down below.

I would also attempt the extra troubleshooting steps under if the issue still persists as well if you haven't already done so. If you have let us know and we'll see what we can try next.

All the recommendations for the Internet Explorer options have been done. Data from my credit card company will download as a Transactions.csv file for Excel but will not enter Quicken.

    Thanks Don

Thanks for the update. I believe in this case it might help trying to see on a test file if we have a similar issue. This will give us a better idea of where exactly the issue is. I'll leave steps down below and you can find it on the third step on the article.

You'll also want to make sure that the accounts are set up for direct connect. If you're unsure how to do so I'll leave a video down below.

Once you get the chance let us know what you're able to find out. From there we'll see what we able to find next.
