Enhanced backup capablity. Add date-time capability in file name.

Allow an option on the backup screen to be able to backup with the current date and the current time. This would allow multiple backups per day. Very useful if going into and out of quicken multiple times during the day or when making changes to the registers and accounts.

If you're speaking about manual backups - which is where you get that "backup screen" - that capability is already there.

I think the OP was asking for both the Date and Time so you can have multiple backups for the same Date.

I, too, have wanted this on occasion. If I'm going to make any big changes to my data, I want to take a backup before and after the changes. In such a case, it would be helpful to have the ability to add a time stamp to the file name.

Automatic Backups created by Quicken already have the date/time stamp capability. It should be fairly easy to extend that support to the Manual Backups, thus allowing the creation of multiple Manual Backups per day.

Just add another flag on the manual backup screen to add the time such that the resulting file would look like" c:\backup\File Name -2021-02-20 -0915.QDF.Backup"

Check the date flag for only the date in the file name,
Check the time flag to provide for both the date and time in the file name.
