Do you have Administrator rights to the computer? Are there any messages (exact wording, please) associated with this? And, any newer Q product will itself uninstall Q2011 when you install the newer product. So, why are you trying to uninstall yourself? And what product are you using to try the uninstall? ONLY QCleanUI can successfully, and fully, uninstall Q.

Well... which topic is it ?A - want to install newer version of Quicken from QWin 2011
which is an entire topic in itselfB - QWin 2011 is not recording checks that have been printed. Also, guessing since you are using QWin 2011 -
that you are not depending upon any kind of online access for transactions, updates, investments, etc[EDIT] - updated the topic title to better reflect both of the actual Q&A -QWin Deluxe Subscription - Win100 -
Let's just start with Topic 1. My computer tells me I can't uninstall Q 2011 & I have to contact Quicken for help which I have done.

TOPIC 2 Why are checks that are printed not recorded in the account ? Where are checks that are printed going ?0

Could they have been deleted by accident? Because they must be recorded in the account before they can be printed. Is the balance in that account correct? When did you last reconcile the account?Q user since DOS version 5
