Transaction disappears

When I enter some transactions into the account register and save, the transaction disappears. When I search the payee name the transaction shows up in the search but do not appear on the register page for the account entered. I have version R32.12 Build 27.1.32.12 subscription. This problem is annoying.

    Thank you for reaching out on the community and telling us about your issue. I do apologize for the issue you're having. That is odd. Do you normally use your register manually? How long has this been happening? Do you notice any thing odd when opening the file or while using the file? Do they appear at any point afterwards? 

    Once we're able to get a bit more information we'll take a look at what could be causing the issue you're having. Let us know once you get the chance.

    Could be a couple diff things. Maybe you have your register sorted by something other than date. Click the DATE column heading to sort by date. Or maybe the register is filtered.  Maybe you typed the wrong date or year on it so it got sorted somewhere else in the list off the screen.

    You can sort the register in Order Entered and it should put it at the bottom of the list.  While in a register, click on "Account Actions", select "Sorting Options", select "by order entered".
