Chase Bank Express Web Connect

Yesterday I tried updating my Chase checking account in Quicken using Chase Web Connect, and it appeared to download all transactions I've ever done. Suddenly I had more than $250,000 (I wish). I had to restore a previously saved file. Am I doing something wrong, or is this an ongoing issue in Quicken? I don't recall having a problem before Quicken switched me to the Web Connect service.

How did Quicken "switched you to Web Connect"? Chase offers free Direct Connect to personal account holders. DC is the best and only method you should be using to connect to Chase.
I would suggest restoring a backup from prior to the connection method and make certain DC is the connection method going forward.user since '92 | Quicken Windows Premier - Subscription | Windows 11 Pro version 21H2

yeah - not sure what you are talking about....Chase BANK offers 3 different download protocols - and Direct Connect, if avail, should always be the choice10898 10898 10898 Chase https://www.chase.com/ 1-877-242-7372 https://secure01c.chase.com ACTIVE

Web Connect - as you mentioned - is a manual download from the Chase website and manual Import into Quicken
EXPRESS Web Connect is different, and an auto download protocol - via One Step Update - but not as great as Direct Connect

I believe Chase charges a monthly fee for Direct Connect but not for Express Web Connect.-1
