I get the following three messages boxes when backing up my Quicken file. I click OK on each message box and the next message box appears.
-- Unable to close file
-- Unable to load item list file
-- Unable to re-load current file after copy
The final message states that Quicken successfully created the backup.

Hello @PhyllisBady,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community to tell us about your issue, though I apologize that you are experiencing this.
First, could you please provide which version of Quicken you have currently running?- Help > About Quicken
To start with, if you haven't already, I suggest you try to Validate your data file by following the steps below. However, I do recommend that you also save a backup of your data file (to your hard drive, if possible) first before trying these steps (just in case).- Navigate to the File menu
- Select File Operations
- Validate and Repair...
- Select Validate file
- Click OK
- Close the Data Log
- Close Quicken (leave it closed for at least 5 secs)
- Reopen Quicken and see if the issue persists.
Let us know how it goes!-Quicken Anja0 -
What is the full path to the folder that contains your Quicken data file on the hard drive? Are you using OneDrive, Dropbox or Google Backup?
