How do I correct for disappearing data?

When I enter data in my check register & then exit Quicken, the data is gone when I open quicken again.

    This would indicate that your register is sorted other than by date. Select (click)  the Date heading and the entries should appear.

    Or you are not opening the same data file each time.

    I checked and my register is sorted by date. And I am opening the same data file each time. Thank you for your comments. I enter data in register, close Quicken, but when I reopen, it is gone. I use File Exit which is supposed to automatically save my latest entries and has up until around April 1st.

    Then try sorting by Order Entered.  While in a register, click on "Account Actions", select "Sorting Options", select "by order entered".  Just in case they got entered with a strange date and you can't find them.

    Thanks for trying to help. Did the By Order Entered. Nothing I've entered after 4/1 is there.
