The only way to remove the banners is to renew the subscription.

Note: If you can get a hold of a Quicken 2016 or 2017 they can read in a Quicken Subscription data file and doesn't require a subscription.

I, too, am finding this extremely annoying. I need a simple check register and can do without the online benefits. Quicken has lost another long time customer over this.

Me too. I hate it. I will remove quicken 2020 and reinstall 2016 version and will not update in the future
  • These banners are incredibly obstructive to working with the product. I will never buy another Intuit product due to this usability issue.
  • What a nerve - I will never renew
  • I agree with everything said here. I do not use any of the benefits of the subscription. I use Quicken as a register only. I will NOT purchase an older version. I will, instead, update to a different product, and file Quicken in my recycle bin. I have used this product since 2005, but will not be "strong-armed" into renewing just so I can see my full screen. Ridiculous!
