Why is the financial data sometimes downloaded twice when connecting to my financial institution

    Thank you for taking the time to visit the Community to ask your question although, I apologize that you have not received a response.

    We will need a bit more information to be able to assist. First, please navigate to Help > About Quicken and provide the release that you are running?

    Is this happening to one account or multiple accounts? What is the name of the bank? Also, if you have not done so already, I would recommend reviewing the steps and information available here

    One more piece of information would be helpful ...
    How are you downloading from the bank?
    Are you using One Step Update or "Update Now" from the register's Action gear button?
    Or are you logging on to the bank's website and selecting a range of transactions to download as a .QFX file, to import into Quicken?
    Can you give us more details about one of those duplicated transactions? Is it a withdrawal, a deposit or a transfer between different banks?
