Duplicate 401k transactions created from edited Paycheck

I have a paycheck set up in Bills and Income Reminders. Occasionally, the amount differs so i go into the register and update amounts when i receive my pay stub. This creates a duplicate transfer transaction for the updated amount in my 401k account register. How do i stop that?

    I have encountered this in the past, and I think it is some kind of bug.  In fact if you go to the transfer in the 401K account you will find that one of them (usually the first one) and right click and select "Go to transfer" it will tell you that the account doesn't exist.  As in it is a broken linked transfer.

    I have never found a fix for this problem other than avoiding changing any of the transfer amounts in the paycheck transaction.
    (I'm always using the latest Quicken Windows Premier subscription version)
