default directory

Is there a way to set that? I tried to set Quicken up on Dropbox (Iuse it for 2 organizations I help as well as my own) but was having troubles, but I'm ending up with multiple files of different dates and I think the wrong one has been saved to the cloud. I now want to move the main files to a desktop folder and then back up the files to a dropbox folder.

Your working Quicken data file MUST be on a local hard drive, not Dropbox or any other cloud storage system. You can store backups on a shared drive if you want.
