Can't update from 6.1.1 to 6.2.1 Mac

The file downloads but won't open. I added my password, but still download won't open. I changed the password- still won't open.

    Are you trying to update from within Quicken and that's not working? If so, try this: Quit Quicken then go to your top level Applications folder and move Quicken.app to the Trash (you must be logged into a Mac Admin account).

    Next, go to quicken.com, sign in to My Account and click Quicken for Mac on the Access Your Apps tile. This will download the file "Quicken.dmg". Double click the Quicken.dmg file (no password required) which will show a window with an icon "Quicken Installer.app" which you double click to install. You will need to enter your macOS Admin User password. This will install a fresh up to date copy of Quicken.app. Your data file will be unaffected.
