Calendar Duplicating Bill Reminders

This has gone on for more than a year now. FIX IT QUICKEN. My Bill Reminders duplicate in the Calendar and affect the total at the bottom of each day, but when I delete one, they all get deleted or if I enter them into a register, only one enters and the rest disappear. I created a new Quicken file, scrubbed the [Removed - Profanity] out of it (even the double-secret file scrub) and it removed the problem. For a month or so. Now, every one of my Bill Reminders duplicates. I delete them and recreate them but they duplicate. It renders the entire Calendar useless! I am on R33.24 for Windows.

    Thank you for reaching out to the Community to tell us about your issue, though I apologize that you are experiencing this.

    To start with, if you haven't already, I suggest that you please try validating and/or super validating your data file. However, I do recommend that you first save a backup file prior to performing these steps.

    Validate
    1. File
    2. File Operations
    3. Validate and Repair
    4. Validate File
    5. Click OK
    6. Close the Data Log
    7. Close Quicken (leave it closed for at least 5 secs)
    8. Reopen Quicken and see if the issue persists.

    Super Validate:
    1. File
    2. File Operations
    3. Hold CTRL + Shift and click Validate and Repair
    4. Super Validate File
    5. Click OK
    6. Close the Data Log
    7. Close Quicken (leave it closed for at least 5 secs)
    8. Reopen Quicken and see if the issue persists.

    Yeah, no. This is what I was alluding to when I said, "I created a new Quicken file, scrubbed it, and it removed the problem. For a month or so." I really dont care to do that every other month. Quicken needs to figure out what the hell is duplicating calendar items.

    I did these actions - again!!! - and it cleared the issue, but I will lay odds of 50-1 it will return in a short while.

    I shouldn't have to validate and then do a double-secret validation to clear this problem. [Removed - Rant]

    I tried it and the calendar got totally messed up.
