getting stuck doing one step updates with password issues

I am getting stuck doing one step update. It asks for password and the hangs up.

    Thank you for reaching out to the Community regarding your issue, although I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your one step update. I'm wondering here if we might be able to single out what exactly could be causing the issue. To start off here do you by chance have mobile and web enabled? If so the first place we can check by trying to disable it. You can do so by going across the top to edit > preferences > mobile & web > Sync off.

    Once you get a chance to try these steps, please let us know if you're able to complete the update. If not we'll better understand our next steps/options.
