I’ve reconciled September 2020, finished putting in October 2020 and tried to reconcile but it’s saying my last statement ending date is 31-10-20. Please help

You might want to check your Windows regional date format settings. It looks like you have it set for some country other than the US (i.e., UK or some other European or Asian country) where they format it as day-month-year instead of the US format which is month-day-year.

Ah. So that does explain the date format. What edition and version of Quicken are you using? You can get this information from Help > About Quicken.
