One Step Update Progress

This concerns the One Step Update Progress screen:

When trying to update the various accounts to show the transactions as Cleared (c) there is sometimes an Error when it cannot connect to the credit card's secure site.

I understand that.

However, there should be a way to close that particular screen if there is an error. The X on the screen is grayed out. There is no way to close it and return to the main Quicken program. That is not good.

The only way I have found is to go to TaskManager in Windows and close the entire Quicken program.

Then have to open Quicken again.

Shouldn't have to go through that. Please un-gray the X and let us close that particular screen if there is an Error.

    How often does that error occur?
    What credit card are you having problems with?
    What edition level (Starter Edition, Deluxe, etc.), version and release of Quicken are you using? Click Help / About Quicken (Mac: Quicken / About Quicken) to determine year/version and release.  You must be on the latest release (patch) level for your supported Quicken Subscription version. If you're missing patches, update your software first.
    What version of Windows or Mac OS are you using?
    How stable or error prone is your Internet connection?

    First of all it is NOT the credit card that is the issue. The issue is the One Step Update Progress screen itself.

    Bottom Line: no way to close it if it is stuck on an error.

    Running the absolute latest Quicken Deluxe R34.16.

    Gig speed Internet.

    Again, the issue is not being able to close the screen if it is stuck on an error trying to download.
