One way is to go to the Account Register that you want printed out and then go to File > Print Account Name.  Example: To print a checking account named Main Checking, go to the Main Checking account register and then go to File > Print Main Checking.  You can do limited customization (i.e., date range) and you can preview the report before printing it.
Another way to print transactions in an account register is to go to Reports > Banking > Transaction and then customize it (upper right Gear icon) to select the account(s) and time period you want.  Then you can export the report to Excel.  If you want a running balance column you will need to add that in Excel but I actually like this better than the 1st option I mentioned.
