Known Issue: Verizon Wireless Quick Pay Payment Fails to Process

Some Users have reported receiving an error when attempting to make a Quick Pay payment to the Verizon Wireless online biller.

The error message states "Quicken was unable to process your payment because Verizon Wireless will only accept card-based payments. Your payment has been canceled."

This error may occur if Verizon Wireless has a history of delinquency associated with the account.  In this instance, Verizon Wireless will accept only payments made from credit cards and cancel any ACH payments made with Quick Pay.

If this error message is received, we recommend making the payment from an alternative credit card based method, until the ability to make Quick Pay payments from a credit card account is available with Quicken Bill Manager.
