Wrong default categorization

All my credit card transactions for American Airlines that get downloaded seem to always default into the wrong category (charity) instead of the correct one (Air Travel). No other merchant has this issue. I have to manually change it each time and that's no fun as sometimes I forget if I'm moving fast.
I've inspected the memorized payee list and the renaming rules and nothing I see or do there seems to affect this. Any hints of what I'm overlooking?
