Print Grid Lines in Reports

Why can't you have grid lines in the reports. Would make it so much easier to read.

    Try Edit > Preferences > Reports Only. Under Visual Settings, pick Alternate row color.

    The on-screen appearance may be affected by your settings in Edit > Preferences > Colors.

    Actually, there are grid lines in reports. Unlike the old green-bar computer paper with green bars pre-printed on the paper every inch, grid lines in Quicken reports only appear when there are 3 or more lines printed together at the same lowest transaction detail or subcategory level.
    You can see these grid lines in the report view.
    On paper these grid lines also appear, but may be too thin to be printed when your printer does not print at 100% size and high resolution (dpi).

    There are NO gridlines on the basic reports which makes it very difficult to line up the names with the amounts (they are spread far apart (ex Itemized Categories - no grid lines unless you click for details - then you get color) I also would like grid lines on the basic report.
