Cannot seem to sort by Downloaded Payee in Account Data

I have the entry level version of the Quicken subscription. Just purchased it today and set up a back account and imported data from the bank download transactions. I opened the column selector and can now see the column Downloaded Payee. However, when click on the column to sort it by Downloaded Payee, it seems to sort in only by the first letter or and not the whole string. So identical payees are spread about. Any ideas as to why this is.

I never noticed that before.  Are you referring to something like this: EDIT, updated to include column header)

Hmmm ... seems to be working correctly on my Quicken HB&R, R 35.31

Sorts on the complete text, even ignores uppercase vs. lowercase (which I find is a plus)
So, what's the difference between your system and mine?

I don't know.  BTW if I sort by Payee, I'm not seeing a problem.

Here is an even more bizarre one:

But unlike the description in the original post, I'm not seeing only looking at the first character, I can't figure out any pattern to this.  For the most part it is sorted correctly.

Actually looking at my last post screenshot I see something.  Notice that even though the Downloaded Payee starts with P, they are both Apple bills and the payee is Apple.  Note I don't have any renaming rules for Apple or memorized payees, but it is like it is looking at those downloaded payees and saying "these are Apple".  Note changing the payee name doesn't change the sort order.
