Net Worth reports show large differences vs actual balance

My net worth reports always have large differences in the report, versus the actual account balance, this is true for any reports run anyway, even the Account Balances reports, report different totals then the actual account. Can this be fixed?

If you are comparing the balance in the Account Bar to the reports you have to take a few things into consideration.  First off the account bar can be showing the current balance or the ending balance.  The ending balance would certainly be different from what is in the report.  Next if you have reminders showing in an account they are figured into the balances on the Account Bar, but not in the reports.
