ABILITY TO SEARCH DOWNLOADED TRANSACTIONS

WELL, IT'S A CONSTANT SCROLLING UP AND DOWN, WHETHER YOU SORT IT BY DATE, AMOUNT OR PAYEE, THERE'S A LOT OF SCROLLING AND EYE SORENESS TO FIND THE TRANSACTION.
IF THERE WERE A SEARCH BOX FOR THE DOWNLOADED TRANSACTIONS, THEN YOU COULD TYPE THE AMOUNT, PAYEE OR DATE AND SEARCH FOR THE TRANSACTION THAT WILL EITHER BE IN AN ACCEPT OR MATCH STATUS.
PLEASE IMPLEMENT THIS!!!! IT WOULD HELP MY EYE TREMORS AND HELP MY BUSINESS RECONCILE FASTER!!! :)

You might want to consider turning on "automatic transaction entry" mode.
Edit -> Preferences -> Downloaded transactions -> Automatically add to banking registers
Since all the transactions go directly into the register you can use the power of the register to do things like what you are asking for, including the search box that filters the register to what you type in.
It uses a "review process" instead of an "accept process", but both can be used effectively if you understand how they work.
Example:
After marking that one reviewed, and also entering text to filter.
Note that changing a value in a transaction will also mark it reviewed (blank status/blue dot column), as will reconciling. I usually don't mark each transaction reviewed, instead I review them all and then reconcile to the online balance, which them marks them reviewed. Note though do not use automatic reconcile with this option since it is only concerned about the amounts reconciling and will clear all the statuses before you can review the new transactions to make sure they are correct.
But if one wants to check off receipts then marking each reviewed should work pretty well. Note you can also sort by the Status/blue dot column to group all the New and New Match transactions together.Signature:

Thanks!! I see you indicated there was a "new match" to review too. That's good to know because I literally want to review each transaction, even if it matches.0

If you do decide to stay with the Downloaded Transactions tab, I find that it is best to "go with the flow". After accepting one transaction, select the next transaction from the top of the pile, as presented by Quicken. And be sure to have enabled the "Hide Accepted" button to make accepted transactions disappear from the view. Eventually you'll reach the bottom of the pile, and you're done with less scrolling and searching.

Where do you go to enable the "Hide accepted" button? I don't see that.QWin Premier subscription0

Examples of New Match (note you have to expand the status column to see the text, not just the icon).
And as for manual matching. The procedure is to correct the amount of the transaction in the register so that it matches the downloaded transaction, and then click on the Uncleared status to bring up the manual match dialog, like this.

Quicken . can you add a search/ find bar for the downloaded transactions ? when i pick up a reciept i could then just type into the "find" bar the amount on the receipt and that transaction would jump to the top vs scrolling thru a 100 entries looking for $56.33 (for instance) boom, there it is i can add a memo or recategorize and i'm done! next!

yes, that would help speed up the most tedious part of the whole process!

mikesauto i completely agree. i too match receipts and the easiest way would be to take a slip off the pile type in the amount in a "search "window specifically for downloads and have it pull the matching entries to the top. i'd would then add a memo or review a split etc and on to the next one. Mike is right, the scrolling is tedious and the worst part of quicken-Getting accurate data in . Quicken already sees the value of "search" as it uses it up in the body of entries made. I am just asking for the same usefulness for downloads. Please and thank you:)
