There should be an option to HIDE your NET WORTH, so that it's not always visible on the bottom-left of the display.

I'm reluctant to show friends and/or biz associates certain items in Quicken because I don't want them to be able to view my Net Worth display in Quicken.

Sidebar Balance Options

    The option to show/hide Net orith exists.
    At the top of the sidebar - click the circular icon with the three dots.
    Select "Sidebar Balance Options"
    Clear the check mark for :Show Net Worth".

    @Douglas Alden Good news -- this already exists! :)

    At the top of the left sidebar, click the ••• icon. In the pop-up menu, select Sidebar Balance Options. In the resulting menu, select Show Net Worth to un-check it. The Net Worth will disappear from the bottom of the sidebar.

    (Note that this doesn't affect register totals in the upper right of the main window, so if you click on All Accounts in the sidebar, the total on the right side of the register will be your net worth.)
