Quicken should automatically calculate next check number when printing checks

The software should calculate the number of checks on the first page, based on checks and check numbers already printed.

Right now I sometimes waste checks because I haven't clicked on the correct radio button for the number of checks on the first page.

The title of this post is wrong. Quicken does supply the next check number. If I understand correctly, the desire is for Q to remember how many checks are on  the current page of 3-to-a-page checks.

Actually the request is for Quicken to "know" automatically that the next check will printed on a one-check page, two-check page, or three-check page.
