Annoying sign-off question

Within the last few weeks, Quicken insists on asking a question that I must answer: "You have messages to read. Do you want to read them before exiting?" All of the messages are old. How can I avoid the question?

In the upper right of your screen, across from the Quicken header, what color is the bell icon? If it's clear/white, that's not the "messages". If it's BLACK, you can click it and them click "Mark All Read".Q user since DOS version 5

Thanks for your reply. I do not see a bell icon in the upper right as I attempt to close Quicken, which I do simply by clicking on the "X" in the upper right.0

I think the bell icon and envelope is only in this forum. You are asking about in your actual Quicken program, right?0

Yes, the Quicken app on my desktop.0
