Provide a way to sort categories in split transaction window alphabetically.

Are you entering your credit card payment with a multi-way split transaction? If so, please post back for a better way to do this...

Or if not, what is the application that requires a lot of splits?

when I run reports by category, if that category includes split payments to a credit card, the whole amount of that payment is included in a single category report. How do I avoid this?

@e610_g393 Please give the name of the built-in report you are using and describe how you have customized it.

As a side note, it is generally much easier to set up an account in Quicken for each credit card. You can download or manually enter the credit card transactions and categorize the transactions in that account. Then when you pay the credit card, it is not a complex split transaction but just a transfer from your checking account to the credit card account.
