Income showing as negative numbers in the red - under Expenses

When I asked for an annual income/expense report - I had three income categories show up under expenses - in red - with negative sign before each figure.
What is it? And please, does anyone know how to fix it? Thank you in advance for your help. Laura

    I fixed it - sort of. I had made those income categories tax related - thinking it would be a good idea to show what entries have tax consequences associated with them. I may have done it wrong - and I may try to figure it out - but for now, I'm happy the report is correct. Thank you all for being here

    What tax line items did you originally associate with these categories? What do these transactions represent?
    If, e.g., you received a tax refund, it should go into it's own separate tax category, not the "Federal Income Tax paid" bucket.
