Amex (Aeroplan Reserve Card) transactions will not download

New message on AMEX states

American Express recently made system updates to our connection to Intuit's Quickbooks and Quicken software. To resume .QFX and .QBO downloads, you will need to complete a Quickbooks and/or Quicken account deactivation and reactivation process.

Instructions on how to complete this process are available below. You can also contact Intuit Customer Support via the web at Quicken.com/support or Quickbooks.com/support for help.

Alternatively, you can use Quicken Direct Connect.

I have deactivated and reactivated (but just for this account), but download (of qfx) does not work:

"We're sorry.....
The American Express Online Services system has not properly responded to your request. If you were attempting to view Billing Details, the system may be unable to return all of your charges at one time. Please use your browser's back button, and press the "Additional Cards" button to view your charges one card at a time. If the problem persists, please call American Express Customer Service and provide error code indicated on this page".

(However, there is NO error code)

(This is also true even for .QIF file, same message)

    Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community. For this particular instance, if you are not getting an error code, I would recommend contacting your financial institution's online team for further assistance. This is especially true if an escalation is needed on their end.
