Provide option on Security List

After using Quicken for many years, my Security List has gotten quite large. I suggest that Quicken allow the user to display only those securities in which the user has a current position. This could be done by adding a box which the user could check if they wish the Security List modified in that manner.

Sounds like a good idea.
One potential issue is that if you chose this option you would not see securities that you have just added to the list but have not purchased yet.
You might want it to hide securities that you held at one time but do not hold now. Again this might cause problems if you want to re-buy a security.
A sortable column in the Security List that shows how many shares are currently held would help users identify candidates for hiding. Sorting by shares held would put all the zero-share securities together.QWin Premier subscription0 -
I think this is a good idea. I agree that there should be a "No. of Shares Held" column should be added to the Security List so it can be sortable and it easily helps to identify which securities should be hidden.
IMHO, the lack of this column in the Security List is a miss that the Quicken team should fix, whether or not the option to show only held securities is added.(QW Premier Subscription: R49.29 on Windows 11)
