quicken shuts down when trying to download investment value updates

everytime I try to update investment values the quicken program closes down and I have to log back in and can't get the updates of my investments

For instance, are you updating your investment values via download or manually? Also, when you state that you are having to log back in, does this mean you are using Quicken on the web? Or are you being prompted to log back on to your desktop app?

    Please elaborate so that we may provide guidance.
