Reconciling bank account, account window closes

When I am reconciling my bank accounts and I check an item off, the account window closes. I then have to reopen the account and start to reconcile the account again. This happens numerous times before the account has been reconciled. It does not make a difference which account it is. I am using Premier version R38.29.

Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community. We apologize you are having this issue. To obtain a better understanding of the issue could you please pop the register out and see if the issue still occurs? Before starting the process please ensure you have made a backup of your current file.
To start select Edit >Preferences >Register >Use popup register. See the visual example below.
When you have a moment please follow the steps above, attempt to reconcile any of the affected accounts, and let us know how it goes!
