this is becoming a popular topic that 3rd party services are offering solutions. Seems like a great new feature that quicken could easily add... would give subscribers enough time to cancel or renegotiate

In Quicken you can just setup a reminder for such bills.

Well, I don't really know exactly how those third-party services work, but one has to assume that you don't just log in, and they magically find all of your bills.

So, it seems that there are only two ways they can work.  One would be you tell them the information needed to find the bill, something like Online Bills in Quicken. The other is you give them access to one or more accounts and they just scan for repeating bills.

There is a very old feature in Quicken, which I don't know how good it works where you go to the Bill and Income Reminders (Ctrl+J) -> Options -> Suggest Reminders -> Suggest Reminders based on my past activity. Once that is done make sure Options -> Suggest Reminders -> Review my accounts for reminders to suggest, is on.  The "Schedule These?" will appear at the bottom of the Bill and Income Reminders window.
