This former VERY USEFUL feature stopped working many months ago. Let's get Quicken to add it as a new feature, so that we don't waste hours manually entering transactions that used to be automatically entered (for at least the last twenty years).

Auto enter for Reminders is working as it always has for me. Are the reminders still set to Auto enter but they do not go into the register? Is the "days before" setting correct?QWin Premier subscription0

Jim_Harman, the reminders are still set to Auto enter but they do not go into the register. The "days before" setting is correct. This Quicken fail has been reported by many many Users, many many times. Like I said, been using this feature for 20 years with no issues, until sometime in 2020 or 2021 (I do not recall the first date it happened).1

Here is an incident where doing a Validate and Repair fixed the Auto enter issue

But in this discussion, several users report Auto enter not working correctly

Quicken intentionally changed the behavior of reminders about the same time they introduced Online Bills about two years ago. It appears they are maintaining the current due date when a reminder's transaction is entered and silently no longer allow the reminder's due date to subsequently be set to the same or an earlier date. The hidden date may manifest a variety of symptoms. Most notably, reminders appear to skip months. The generic work around is to delete the misbehaving reminder and create a new reminder.

Ok so I have a loan set up and it let me do auto enter in reminders under Bills & Income. Works Just fine.
However if I set up a new Reminder (manual) then there is no option at all to "auto enter." Its just gone. I am using the Widows Subscription Deluxe. This really sucks that its been taken away.0 -

This really sucks that its been taken away.In the Add Reminder or Edit Reminder dialog check to see if "Optional Settings" is expanded to show three additional linesIf the lines don't show, click the little triangle (the one I marked red above) to open the settings.
Depending on how the reminder was defined (or defaulted to), you now have either "Remind me xx days in advance" or "Auto enter ...". Click the blue text "change" to change this setting.

I am one of those that has some auto enter bills that work & some don't. I have been using Quicken since the dinosaur days and this feature always worked. I agree that it seems like in the last year or two that is became a problem. validate & super-validate did nothing for me!0

For example, they don't work because they are set to auto enter more than one frequency period in advance (e.g., monthly and auto enter >28 days in advance). If you can't figure out the cause, have you tried creating a new reminder and deleting the old one? There could be some kind of hidden record damage which makes Q mess up. Validate and Supervalidate can't fix problems they aren't programmed to look for.

@UKR there is no common denominator that I can see. all of my auto entries are set monthly and in general they are set to enter 3-5 days in advance of the bill being due. Pretty simple and straight forward.
Yes, I did delete and add back the bill and it did nothing, very odd. I changed the days to enter to various days and nothing.0
