Normally I would say this is "unlikely", but two things have "hit me" lately. The lack of release to the Windows Canadian version for almost a year, and this recent change when reinstalling:
First, they ask for me to log in with my Quicken Id and then this dialog comes up:

Why would they need to ask me which to install for?
If the install is just for US why would there be this question?
Not to mention my Quicken Id is tied to a Quicken Windows US subscription.
Out of curiosity I picked Canada and sure enough when it started up, it has a problem with logging in the Quicken Id.
But punching through that, and I get to this:

The version number is Windows US, but Edition is stated as Canada.
Other indications.

The data file switched to multiple currency even though it wasn't before, and notice there isn't a setting to turn it off. This is a hallmark of the Canadian version because it requires multiple currency since the home currency isn't US. Also, there isn't a way to change the home currency, and the ability to import prices, and historical prices, all artifacts of the Canadian version.

Also see how "checks" is spelled. This comes up in many places.
