how do i fix qw.exe error

i am having trouble with qw.exe in windows 11 i can uninstall quicken then reinstall qw.exe works a couple of times then i get the same result, refresh this page is there a fix for this?

when i go to "planning" and then "change assumptions" the error message i get
"make sure the web address http://qw.exe is correct"

Just a shot in the dark ...
Is it possible that a setting in your default browser's Internet connection disallows access to unencrypted (http://...) websites? In my browser the setting is referred to as "HTTPS-Only Mode"

If that's not the cause, I recommend reinstalling Quicken using this procedure:

Uninstall / QCLEANUI / Reinstall

Please follow this procedure, using a Windows User Account with full Administrator privileges to remove all parts of your Quicken software and reinstall it:

This is a new, reported bug in R38. I have seen reports that reverting to R37 may temporarily remedy this but that it eventually returns. We just have to wait for a fix, hopefully in R39.
