"Change Assumptions" takes me to a failed search...

Under "LifetimePlanner", if I click "Change Assumptions" a separate window opens.
This window appears to be a Quicken window with a browser inside.
It displays
No Results Found for "QW.Exe"

What should happen?

When I click the individual items under "Plan Assumptions", it works correctly.

    Hello @joe porkka

Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community. We apologize you are having this issue. After taking a further look, I was able to recreate the issue on my end as well. I have submitted a report so that our teams may take a look at it and implement a solution. Although there is no ETA at the moment, unfortunately.

Please let us know of any other questions or concerns. Thank you!

I'm having the exact issue that @joeparkka is having. It's been going on now for weeks. This is really getting frustrating.

My Lifetime planner is working perfectly. When I click on "Change Assumptions" a popup window comes up allowing me to change whatever i want.
I am using windows 10, Microsoft edge as my browser and am on quicken Premier subscription r38.30.
I hope whatever "fix" is going to be incorporated doesn't break the ones that are working.

Whatever is causing this problem is very "flaky".  It can be working at for a given user at one point, and then without changing anything it stops working.  So, even though it is working for you now, that isn't a sign that your setup is "special" and that whatever they do will be different for you.

Note that the web browser that you are using doesn't matter, the web pages in Quicken are displayed in its own embedded web browser.

This problem is still present in R39.23 build 27.1.39.23.
    Quicken Windows Premier
A fresh install corrects the problem, but at some point (unknown) it crops up again and won't go away until I reinstall.

Have you deleted this folder? C:\ProgramData\Quicken\Cache

It is needed to get it completely fixed.

Quicken should have included clearing the cache folder in the 39.23 patch. Having to tell users one user at a time to do the extra step is not working very well.

That's a winner! Deleting C:\ProgramData\Quicken\Cache restores normal behavior without a reinstall. Thank you Chris! That's the first viable workaround I've seen.

Deleting the Cache files fixed my problem without another reinstall. Please don't break it again. My current take on Quicken is that it has become too big and cumbersome so is now filled with spaghetti code. I think you all need to start from the ground up and rebuild this program. It's been a mess for some time now.

I got the same problem and just got off the phone with a support person that wasn't able to assist, wasn't aware of the issue, nor had a clue that the problem might have been fixed in release R39. Thanks for this solution it also worked for me. Someone should update Quicken support desk so t hat they know.

After being on infinite hold and then talking to a support person who was clueless, I still can't change assumptions in the planning tab. I have deleted the cache and that did not work. So the issue is escalated. I see here that this problem has been going on the months. I have to call to someone in another department in a few hours (Pacific time). They can't call me back??? I've already been on the phone for over an hour. Ugh
