how to merge two accounts

how do i merge 2 credit card accounts. recently Cibc took over capital one costco customers. i was finally able to download transactions but quicken created 2 different accounts when they are the same account. card number is still same and online bill payments are the same but i have 2 accounts using same account number. i would like to combine the accounts so i do not lose transactions and not have to create a new list of reminders and bill payments

I don’t want to move transactions as I will have to do it every time I download new transactions. I want to combine the 2 accounts that quicken created. Like I said in original post my account was moved to another financial institution but everything is still the same . CIBC bought all Canadian Costco Mastercard accounts. I want to be able to have all of the existing and new transactions in the same account.

You need to deactivate online services for 1 account and move all the transactions to the other account.
