cash management account

In investing my IRA investments are occurring through the broker. Quicken is classifying this IRA account as a cash management account. I can’t reconcile or update the balance. The IRA has a cash balance its not zero. I need to change this but can’t see how.

In another part in investments how do I record a dividend reinvest?

When you do TOOLS, Account List and click the EDIT button adjacent to the IRA account ... what shows as the "Account Type"?
Because in Q US, "Cash Management Account" isn't a Q account type ... even though my taxable brokerage account is, indeed, such.
re: your 2nd question, do you not have an "Enter Transactions" box at the top of your Investment register?
