Hello, there have been over 30 US releases since the last Canadian release. Please provide a release date for the next Canadian release.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hello @ta,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community with your question.
The next Canada release is in the works and expected to be released soon, though we do not have an exact release date set yet.
I hope this helps!-Quicken Anja1 -
They don't announce release dates until it's imminent. And, I suspect, that testing is incomplete.

But on the subject of issuing release dates, I believe that is a foolish thing to do.
If you put out a release date and don’t make it for any reason, you have angry customers.
If you don’t give out release dates you get complaints like this, but at least you can say you “kept your word”.Signature:

@NotACPA and @Chris_QPW
Are either of you Quicken Canada customers? If not, why are you continually commenting and defending Quicken and their poor support of their Canadian customers?
Repeating myself yet again, on the https://www.quicken.com/canada/compare page, the first Frequently Asked Question is:
Is Quicken a subscription product?
Yes, Quicken is now a subscription, called a Quicken membership. We’ve moved to this model to ensure that all of our customers are on the latest, greatest version of Quicken. Rather than wait for an annual upgrade to provide improvements and fixes, we now have regular releases throughout the membership term, creating a better experience for our customers.
Quicken Canada customers are NOT seeing regular releases throughout our membership term. Hence we need to keep asking.

I, for one, commented on Q's practices regarding NOT pre-announcing the content of ANY releases. US or CDN.And your "keep asking" does no good and clutters up the forum. WHEN QCda announces a new release, it will be posted in this forum and via One Step Update. Not BeforeQ user since DOS version 5

In a nutshell I said that I think Quicken Inc hasn't properly supported the Canadian customers, and I have always stated that.
This thread is in fact about the wrong thing. Would it even exist if the Canadian version was getting as many releases as the US one?
So, no I don't agree that Quicken Inc should be preannouncing releases it doesn't serve any good, but that is a completely different subject than not putting out releases in the first place.
BTW the US version getting lots of releases isn't a sign of good support. In fact, it is a sign of bad support. A large portion of the US releases have been fixing things they broke in the patches before it.
I'm sure you would have loved to have the R39.21 and R39.23 patches which corrupted existing paycheck transactions.Signature:

it's almost a year since the last release. So we pay 95.00$ CAD for nothing! Very disapointed0

Now that a new version of Quicken Windows Canadian has been released, I wonder how people feel about it?Signature:

Due to issues posted here, I had to revert back to Canada edition R33.7. Now, when I hit its Check for Updates menu item, it says that it's the latest release available. Does that mean that R40.23 has been withdrawn?0

Update and Mondo Patch: Subscription Release of Quicken for Windows
Sorry, my mistake they haven't made the patch release available on that web page.
Note, even though I have seen it in the release notes, I thought at one time I heard that everyone using Express Web Connect needs to be on a R40.* release within about a month because they are changing over the backend connection method in that time period.Signature:

Here is the announcement I was thinking of on the subject of the need to be on R40.* for the Canadian release:
