Rename Files

How about adding the option to rename a file from the File menu? Making a copy of a file you want to rename seems inefficient as you end up with two identical files.

How about, with Q closed, simply using Windows to rename the file (making sure that it still ends in .QDF) and then double clicking on it to start Q. Q will then remember that file for the next time that you open Q.

@NotACPA - If you rename the .qdf file using Windows explorer, do you need to rename the .DAT files such as [filename]_SyncLog?0

@bwm80128 No, they'll be re-created with the new name. And your .QDF "file" is actually a zipped collection of several files, only the "zipped" file needs to be renamed.Q user since DOS version 5

This is probably what I did, since Quicken doesn't provide the option.0
